How does a spiritual healer heal?

A spiritual healer does not heal. You should be very clear about that. In spiritual healing, it is God or spirit that does the healing work. In the Christian bible it notes that: "It is the Father that doeth the work." In spiritual healing then it is always spirit (or the Father) that does the healing work. It is spirit, for instance, that diagnoses the patient and it is spirit that determines the make-up of the spiritual healing rays that constitute the spiritual healing treatment. The spiritual healer does not and can not do that. The healer's role in the spiritual healing process is to attune or connect to spirit as well as they possibly can so that the spiritual healing power that derives from spirit can be transmitted through their spirit as best as it can. It is when the healer attunes to spirit as well as they possibly can that the best and most effective healing energy can be transmitted through them. This is when the healer gets their best healing results.

It is appropriate at this point to state that spiritual healing is a spiritual phenomenon and is spiritual mediumship. It is but one example of a phenomenon of the spirit and one example of spiritual mediumship. In all cases of spiritual mediumship, in all cases whereby the power of the spirit is channelled through a human medium, the energy and the type of spiritual phenomena may be different but the same basic processes are involved in each. Therefore, by knowing the basic processes involved with spiritual healing one knows the basic processes involved with all kinds of spiritual mediumship

What should the theory of spiritual theory and mediumship seek to do?

It seems to me that the theory of spiritual healing and mediumship should place great emphasis on that which creates spiritual links, creates better spiritual links, and on that which opens and deobstructs the spiritual channels. The theory should concern itself principally with that which allows good spiritual results on one hand and that which prevents good spiritual results on the other. Theory therefore is mostly about creating better spiritual pathways and about removing obstructions to those pathways.
